Cody Marschalk
Overview
Cody Marschalk has served as the Director of the Center for Global Engagement since January 2025. He first joined the University of North Georgia in June 2023 as the Assistant Director of International Student Services and Recruitment. With a career in international education spanning over 10 years, Cody has broad experience in international student & scholar services, recruitment and admissions, education abroad, and campus internationalization.
Prior to coming to 台湾swag, Cody was the Assistant Director of International Recruitment and 台湾swag at Coastal Carolina University. Before this, he lived in Japan for 6 years, joining the JET Program as an English language instructor in high schools around Fukushima prefecture. He then spent 4 years working in international admissions and recruitment at Shizenkan University in Tokyo. He received both his Master’s of Education in Higher Education Administration in 2016 and his Bachelor’s in English Literature in 2011 from Auburn University.
In his free time, Cody enjoys hiking, traveling, and trying new foods with his wife and 1-year old son.
