The Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program is for students who want to become a registered nurse. Through rigorous classes, practice in our simulation labs, and intensive clinical experiences, you'll be prepared to be a nurse generalist with knowledge and skills to practice in acute and community settings.
Upon graduation, you will be eligible to take the national licensure exam (NCLEX-RN) required for practice as a professional registered nurse.

The traditional track is primarily for students completing their first bachelor’s degree. Those with a prior degree may also apply. Nursing courses are completed during junior and senior years in 4 semesters (24 months). All core courses must be completed prior to beginning nursing courses.

Before applying, students should have a minimum 3.0 GPA, a minimum HESI cumulative score of 75% and 66% or higher in each sub-section (Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, Math, and Anatomy & Physiology), AND have completed a minimum of 35 completed credit hours. This must include 12 hours of required science, 6 hours of English, and 3 hours of MATH 1111 or higher.

The exam must be taken within twelve months prior to the application deadline and may only be taken twice per calendar year. There must be six or more weeks between exam dates.
Score must meet the scores listed in the requirements section above.
The accelerated track is for students who already have a bachelor’s or graduate degree in an area other than nursing. Nursing courses are completed over 4 consecutive semesters (15 months).

What The Traditional Journey Could Look Like
Your First Year
You'll start to find your place on campus and begin your core classes in English, math, science, history and chemistry.
Attend one of our nursing advisement and info sessions to learn about applying to the nursing program.
Sophomore Year
You'll finish up your prerequisite core courses.
This will be the year you apply to the BSN program. Admission is competitive and is based on your GPA and HESI test score.
Junior Year
You'll learn the fundamentals of nursing practice, including health assessment, pathophysiology and pharmacology
Senior Year
You'll study specialized topics in nursing, including obstetrics, pediatrics, mental health and population health.
As you prepare to graduate from 台湾swag, you'll also be preparing to take the NCLEX exam to earn your professional licensure.
