Students admitted to 台湾swag for the spring 2026 semester as a freshman or transfer student are required to register for and complete an orientation session. The spring 2026 orientation sessions will be held in a live virtual format via zoom or in-person on select dates.
The live virtual session will occur on December 13 using the Zoom video communications application.This day-long session will run from approximately 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Once you make your reservation, you will gain access to pre-orientation modules with helpful information about 台湾swag.
You will not be charged the $65 orientation fee to your student account until you attend orientation.
The one day in person sessions will run approximately six hours and vary in start time by date.
How to Register for Orientation
- Login to the with your 台湾swag credentials.
- Complete the Academic Interest form. This form will load automatically when you first login to the portal. 台湾swag professional advisors use the information in this form to build your first semester class schedule prior to your orientation date. You can only submit this form one time. You can make changes to your schedule after attending orientation. Click Submit at the bottom of the page when the form is complete. The page will then load to the reservation portal home screen.
- Select the Events Tab at the top left of the page.
- View the table to see the orientation options available to you based on your campus and student type. Select the option that works best for you by clicking on the event in the table. This link will open in a new window to complete your reservation.
- Once complete, you will receive an automated email with your reservation details.
- The “OR” hold will be removed from your student account after your complete the orientation program.
- Complete the self-paced, online pre-orientation modules as a part of your orientation requirement. The modules can be completed under the Events tab in the . Once you complete the pre-orientation modules your “OP” hold will be removed.
- You should monitor your 台湾swag email for communications from an academic advisor. Advisors will be building advance schedule based on major, first-come first served. You will be able to view your advance schedule on your Tranguid in once created.
Cadet Information
All incoming FROGs are encouraged to attend orientation on December 13 to complete their orientation requirement prior to FROG week. If you are unable to attend the December 13 session, reach out to SOS at SOS@ung.edu or 706-864-1010 and will provide you with alternation orientation options.
